Most successful stories have a hook, something that captures the imagination and takes you further into the world of the story, what one thing stands out for you especially as the main hook in the Jesus story…that you think makes it so successful?

  1. Jesus never captured my imagination but my heart

That Jesus loved me before i knew Him, just as I was and no one can separate me from His love

Jesus used no gimmics. He used a pure heart and miracles which healed and kept faith alive. And to compare Him with Rapunsel and Sleeping Beauty, both of which are man-created fairy tales… is very silly.

  3. badong I don't think I can improve on that.
    I Corinthians 13;8a,Love never fails.

I would have loved to see this man in action. He was so compassionate and loving. Even the very small children felt comfortable around him.
Many people with power are intimidating to others. They may act haughty, knowing they are better than everyone else. But Jesus was mild. He reached out to others, even the lowly and weak. That is what I love about him.

  6. I s'pose it would be that He knew He was going to die if He said who He was and then followed through right to the end.

  7. Jesus never had a gimmick, HE had the truth.

first of all, i don't know what is the problem with your question that you would get reported.
but, i would like to say, that the Job story was one of my favorites. I am not religious anymore. But, to hear that story was amazing at how he put up with so much. Back then, it was a thought of faith, now, it's a thought of Why?
