Desperately seeking weight loss pills that work.?

Have tried the chinese herbal teas and medicine but instead put on 20 lbs so just stopped. Am really desperate to lose the weight but could use something genuine that works as I am too far gone to diet and exercise and starve. Also, am a type 1 diabetic but that's not an excuse. Have tried portion control, walking, it's like nothing is working! Am so discouraged and so unhappy. On a different note, does anyone know how Nicole Richie and like get so thin so quickly? Do they use anything? Or are they bulimic? I tried throwing up but nothing came up. Really hurt myself a few times. Am desperate, please help if you can and don't be mean. Thanks!
Thank you, all. No, I don't have thyroid, my doctor is just as concerned as I am. Also, am walking every day and don't take the elevator any more, just stairs. Have tried everything, just cannot figure out why I am gaining weight so rapidly, oh well…
