my cat eats about 1.5 times as much as the recommended amount. he clearly eats plenty, but weighs only 5.5 lbs at age 17 and consistently drops weight, about 1.5 lbs weight loss every 3 wks. i will take him 2 a vet, so im not looking for that answer. im just wondering if anybodys could tell me a possible answer to the problem of wat is wrong with my cat?

I cannot locate the Physician listed on my prescriptions -AND- the weight loss clinic was most likley involved in some fraudulent stuff, and I was to be one of their "patients" thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.
