I am an african american women with dark acne spots on my face. Any suggestions on how to clear it up quickly?

  1. wash your face everyday, with a cleanser not bar soap as it dries out your skins natural oils…and don't pop pimples as it can leave scars …if all else fails see a dermatologist

  2. Proactive is a good product to clear up acne. My bestfriend and sister both used it and were very satisfied. As to the darkness, that could be scaring. Hard to tell without a pic or more details. I have noticed that people with light pigmentation have light scars while people with dark pigmentation have darker scars. For scaring you might need a chemical peel or laser treatment. If proactive doesn't help, see a dermatolist. They can perscribe medication for acne since it is an infection of the skin and they can help you with the dark spots if they are indeed scaring.

    Are you sure it is acne? I was told what I thought was acne is Rosacea. The Dr prescribed some medication that got rid of it in a matter of days!

    i have spots 2 its wat every1 gets wen dey goin thru puberty just wash your face every day wit some clerasil and youll be fine

  5. it seems like everyone is giving you advice to treat acne when it sounds like you are looking for advice to clear away old acne scars, is that right?

  6. yes im black, and i dont have that problem but, u can use this product , i have i use it for my complection, but you can also use it for dark acne spots. the name is: PALMER'S SKIN SUCCESS, FADE DARK SPOTS EVENS SKIN TONE. its a fade cream, PALMER'S has other things you can try they have lotoin, body soap, everything try it. u can buy these at wal-mart, k-mart , or a Drug store.
