Sort of, yeah. You lack an enzyme that is critical to processing alcohol. Do you happen to be of Asian or Native American background? It's relatively more frequent in those populations.
you have large capillary blood vessels in your face, and will likely get rosasia soon. find a cosmetic clinic to help you out. try 'vein centers for excellence' for one near you.
Are you Adian by any chance?
Many Asians (plus some people from other continents) experience a flushing of the cheeks when they drink alcoholic beverages. Some people also can feel queasy as well. Technically it's not an allergy but a low tolerance to the chemicals that get released during the breakdown of alcohol in your body. It's always a good idea to check with your doctor to rule out other causes; but my guess is that you'll have no problems if you stay away from alcoholic beverages.
Good luck!

What are you drinking? Wine has a lot of sulfites & they cause allergies.

Some Irish people with fair skin get this too. Sometimes the type of alcohol affects them more than other types. It is very interesting.
