Diet and Health Question?
Posted on Jun 11, 2009 under Diet and health | 7 CommentsI am 5'5" weigh around 118, and eat really healthy (all natural, organic, ect.) I watch what I eat, and work out generously.
Yesterday, I way over ate (looong story) and I'm going to an event today and I know I will today as well. Is that fine as long as I don't do it again? I lose weight really fast so I think it will come off…

OF course it will come off after a good workout.
Besides, you're going to run into junk everynow and then if you're human.
No biggie.

2 days of over eating isn't a problem. It's hen you do it for an extended period of time that it's bad.

You would need to overeat by 3500 calories in the course of those two days to put on an extra pound. If you just step up your exercise a little extra that week, and make a slight cut in calories each day during that week too, you'll be just fine. Significant weight gain comes from eating too much over a long period of time, not one day of bad eating everyone once in a great while.
Enjoy.

Your metabolism may be relatively high which allows you to keep a great weight at 118 pounds. Plan on these eating events because eventually if you eat too much enough and do not exercise enought- then you will gain weight drastically.
After today's event, I would recommend you drink protein shakes temporarily and exercise consistently. Drink protein shakes in place of meals to give your digestive system a break. Then, you can recover from the eating events.
