Physical Beauty is both voiced in by the shallow media, but also by instinct. A human may be more likely to mate with another that does not look like it may contain genetic imperfections, including physical appearance. The idea is to attract the best mate, for the best offspring to lead their genes into the future.
We are a race that can look beyond some of our instincts, but also still become enthralled in their control over us. Some people look past beauty, and see what is inside, whilst others might see both, and those shallow few, following only their instincts, will see the shallow beauty of humans as if it was all there is to relationship.

My preferences are not affected by the media. But I wish black woman would wear their hair natural instead of trying to look like a white woman.

Physical beauty is not defined by the media, culture or universal but by what my 2 eyes see. My eyes show me that black people are ugly.

All I know is pink pale skin, thin lips, stringy hair, and long beak noses are not the epitome of beauty.
I think most would agree with me.

Obviously certain primitive parts of the world in Africa and South America have never seen a women who isn’t black, so they don’t really know anything else.
But I think it’s universal.
Everyone around the world would look at
Marilyn Monroe

or
Audrey Hepburn

or
Elizabeth Taylor

And know that their different kinds of beauty are ideal.

culture, which is pushed by the media.
Beauty has NEVER been universal. I’ve read about all the different beauty standards in different places in history and they’re all differnet and some of them are weird! (Black teeth were a sign of beauty to Natives before Europeans came, lol. Same with Chinese who used to paint their faces white and put black stuff over their teeth to look their best & presentable! Africans liked buck teeth & black skin. Europeans liked stinky, fat women who didnt shower! Middle Easterners liked hook noses on women… it goes on and on…)
Beauty didn’t start to become a universal thing until Europeans went everywhere and oppressed people & Hollywood started showing their crap all over the world and selling plastic, bottle blondes as beautiful. Some fell for it, others didn’t.

In other places beauty IS seen diferently.Like where as western beauty favours tanned skin while in Korea they prefer pale/porcelain skin.

Its in the genes, hence why
"if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, than most people have the same eyes"

I think beauty is different form person to person but over the centuries beauty has become someone who has certain features and fits the role of stereotypical beauty.
That is why many people are never fulfilled they are always seeking never finding.
