Do beauty schools have a culture to them?

Hello all, I am in a Cultural Anthropology class and we are studying the sub cultures with in our own society. I have a field work essay and i decided to do my sub culture on a Beauty school my friend goes to ( Paul Mitchell). I went there to observe the surroundings and be as objective as possible but im finding myself at a road block. If any of you guys have any suggestions i could put for that would be awesome. ie: Everyone at paul mitchell must wear black…

    there is an anthropological film about a beauty school in kabul called The Beauty Academy of Kabul . it is very interesting and yes there is culture there.. there is culture in everything. it is part of our culture to want to do our hair, makeup etc. and also it is in a way an art form.

    My mum just graduated from Euphoria. Well I know that;
    Everyone must wear black and white, shoes must be black.
    They recently this pass year allowed students to wear facial piercings.
    The school doesn’t care about tattoos.
    I’m pretty sure you can be any age to go there. (mums 45)
    When I went there several times, lots of people had crazy, colorful hair. (good though)
    Half of the school smokes cigarettes.
    My mum could only have 5 tardys. (I don’t know about the kids, 18 year olds, mum being 45 she had some different rules than them)
    They get a 15 minute break for lunch.
    Also a 15 minute break between 9:00AM & 12:00PM and another break between 12:00PM & 4:30.
    School starts at 8:00AM Ends at 4:30PM.
    You can do make up hours for the hours you have missed, which is, 4:30 to 9:00.
    You have to do atleast 1800 hours to pass and get atleast a 75% on all of your tests, and do a Moc Board (thing were you have to do a hair cut/show instructor that you have all of your supplys; containers, towels, scissors, blow dryer, gloves, ect..) And you must take a final.
    You can just do night school if you want, which can take up to two years.
    They split the school in which, there is; freshman, Junior, and Senior, no Sophmore in Beauty school, never has been, never will be.
    There is much more but I can’t think of it all right now.
