My aunt used hypnosis, but then after that she always held a pen or a straw and she said that helped. You could try to drink soda to help with the headaches, but then you may be later asking, How do I quit drinking soda?" But, I do know the hypnosis works.
Do you have a grandchild or small daughter/son if so open up a bank account say for colledge or someting.and put the money you would by cigretts with in this account and everytime you want to buy smokes you have to pull the money from this account
You just quit! If you decide to quit, pick a date and time and stick to it. Tell your family and friends about your plan so that they can support you. When the time you picked comes, crush and throw out any leftover cigarettes. If you are weak willed, stay away from smokers, smoke filled places and anything else that triggers your desire to smoke. I stayed away from bars and drinking and everytime a friend lit up I would walk away until they were done. Plus, I don’t like being wrong so I made a point of telling everyone that I quit so if I caved and smoked, I would feel stupid. I didn’t want to ever feel stupid. I have been smoke free for 18 months now (I smoked for 10 years). You can also reward yourself at milestones (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc). Good luck!!!

The gum is a supplement and you would have to use the patch with it. By using the patches, you would have to know which strength depending on how many you smoke per day and then you would gradually lower the intake of nicotine. It didn’t work for me..It only made my heart rate speed up. Do it for yourself and feel good about it.

Find a new healthy thing to keep your mind off it… like sun flower seeds, (not good in big city, you will look sotheren spitin everywhere.)
