how do you tell your parents that you have been smoking pot for the last 2 years without them killing you.?

Tell them you are dying.
No, first stop smoking it for good, and then tell them.

It depends if you want to quit? If you do the best approach is to tell them you need to talk to both of them about something serious…. get their attention… Then when you sit down tell them you need their help, that you know its not what they wanted for you and now its not what you want…. let them know you want to change… THEN tell them you’ve been smoking pot. Parents generally respond better to a plea for help than just telling them first (otherwise they want to kill before they realize you need them
If you don’t want to quit… then just tell them you want them to hear it from you rather than from somewhere else…. then just hold on tight because they’re gonna blow!
