not a fan. . . just don’t eat anything that moves, jiggles, or was once named Sparky. Oh and do not eat it on a date. . .you will be farting curry the whole time.
I prefer Byriani, tandoor is too mild, LOVE mulligatawny soup, Naan is so wonderful right out of the tandoor…damn my mouth is watering now.
what exactly was your question about indian food? how to make it? if we like it? what?
I can tell you about The indian food from India..as opposed to american india… its as diverse as the cultures here..so what u getout there is just a slice of the pie..its usually rich, and unfailingly delicious..again- its very varied …tandoor, curries, breads are only from the extreme north..theres east, west, central and south indian food as well…
it is just a matter of practice. try to make the dough a bit softer. it is prepared harder for puri. if it is spread evenly and the hotplate is quite hot but not too hot it will turn out ok. it gets more soft and puffed if after slightly roasting either side on hot plate it is cooked on direct flame for a few seconds. or try cooking one side on a hot plate and then keep it from opposit side in a microwave. it will be puffed

What about it?
I like indian food, I’d cook it all the time but my husband won’t eat it, except for butter chicken & occasionally curry.
