Opinion on beauty in different cultures?

I was in a conversation with some friends lately, and they were saying how people from different countries are always really hot. Personally, I don’t think that’s true, because I’m Greek, and I’m nothing special.
I was just wondering, are there too many stereotypes about beauty? I’m in Australia, and they were saying how the Mediterranean, and asian people are hot, and then I’ve got friends in other countries who think Australians are sexy, and then there’s all these other conceptions of beauty about other cultures.
Don’t you think that people are only looking at certain people nowadays, and stereotyping the culture by them?
I’m partially Australian… And I honestly don’t see how people think we’re hot… 1/2 our country’s fat for gods sake

Ever noticed certain cultures value the physical beauty of women more than others ?

I’ve traveled lots of places and I noticed in the Anglo or Geman/Nordic parts of the world most women look sloppy and are dressed poorly. Examples are United States, Britain, Norway, Germany, Sweden, and Ireland. These also tend to be very rich areas of the world.

But in places of the world that have more of Latin-European or Slavic or Hybrid, culture, most women are thin/fit, with nice smooth, skin, and dressed up very glamorous. Examples are Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. It’s no coincidence these areas of the world also produce the most female models. These areas of the world are poor(but not starving african type poor).
MY MISTAKE: Italy is NOT a poor country. It’s an exception to the rule of a country where it is rich and the women are hot.
