Ok, I know this is long but please read it all. And I desperately need advice from people who have either gone through this sort of thing or are trainers or doctors, I need real help.
I’m a 16 year old girl, 5′9, about 135-140 lbs. I’m a rower, and during the crew season I’m in great shape, but I always fall out of it, and my eating habits don’t help.
I managed to stay in really good shape for a long time this summer, but then I went to France for a few weeks and didn’t work out and I ate French food the whole time so I’m completely out of shape.
I can not control my eating habits. I eat mountains of ice cream several times a day, I snack constantly, I avoid vegetables. Believe me, I’ve tried to control myself but it feels like I have a sickness, I just can’t stop. To stop myself from getting fat, I worked out like crazy, for hours every day. I’m sick of living a life of extremes – I want to get to the point where I eat around 1800 healthy calories every day (veggies and protein and no sugar) and run around 6 miles a day (which I was able to do a month ago). I’m sick of being out of control, but when I don’t have junk food, I feel scared and jittery. And I’ve also become really insecure about my body and weight, even though my BMI is under 20, but I just can’t get myself under control and to a healthy medium.
SO! I need help with a few things:
1. a way/method/plan to start to control my eating habits
2. a running plan to get back in shape
3. a way to get to my ideal weight (130 lbs) and STICK TO IT!!
please help me!
So I have full blown Celiac disease, they took 14 biopsy’s a year and a half ago and all tested positive. So for about a year and a half I’ve played around with the celiac diet. Its disgusting, its high in calories, and I hate it. Anyone who says, "anything normal can be switched with gluten free flours and it tastes fine" is a complete LIAR. I have not found anything that tastes even remotely like wheat and I am admittedly a good cook so I don’t believe its on my part. I’ve been breaking my diet. Yes, I know its bad. But besides not absorbing nutrients, what else happens long term? When I want a hot pocket, I want one, and its so hard to not eat food that actually tastes good. My wheat loving taste buds do not enjoy the tapioca, rice flour, bean flour, pea flour, gluten free all purpose flour, any of it. Nothing is the same and I’m tired of people who don’t even have celiac claim it is. What are your suggestions? Am I just doomed to be miserable during every meal and just never be fully satisfied again? I feel I have given myself enough time in a year and a half to properly explore gluten free foods, even have tried several nice and expensive restaurants, and I’m not happy about my situation. It does make me feel psychically sick when I break my diet, but its so much easier to deal with then the emotional toll of losing my favorite foods and not having gluten free versions taste anything close, or even good. Switch it with cardboard and I might not notice the difference.
I am doing the P90X extreme workout and at day 40 I am not noticing much physical change… Although I am feeling better and feel results through out my body.
I am not following any diet plan whatsoever, and thats what leads me to asking this question. What are some foods to make a good health diet- improve muscle growth and reduce excess fat?
Other than being marketing gimmicks. Is their effectiveness attributable to the "Placebo Effect"?

I weigh roughly 195 lbs and am around 6′3" tall. I have a small belly and average muscle tone. I want to lose the belly and start to get on a fitness routine for the summer. What are some good diet plans for that sort of thing? Nothing extreme, A reasonable and livable diet plan would be wonderful.
I am 115lbs and I am 13. I was wondering if anyone had any health tips to keep myself healthy.
I was looking into this diet where I would start with eating protein and gradually work my way into eating my fruits and vegetables. Does anyone know what this diet is called?
(Please, No comments with additude. Any other comments will be appreciated. Thanks so much!)
Also, I don’t want to be on a diet plan (Such as Weight Watchers). Thanks!
